I have been selling high condition 041's for many years. I got 550-650 for the last two supers. The 650 saw had the original 24" bar with the orange letters. Both saws were immaculate and ran like new. I typically sell these locally and they do well. There's a nice 041 FB on my bench right now.
Hello, I am in need of crankshaft seals for a Poulan 361. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a source? I have a minor air leak and hesitate to destroy the seals trying to get them out and then attempt to match up new seals.
Good observation. I didn't count the digits and thought it was pre-72. I have owned red and blue SXL's from 1974. I love the old Homies. My dad was a dealer in the 1970's. I have an inventory of old parts, manuals, etc.

Very good information on the SXL's. I've been running them for 40 years and they are bulletproof. In 1974, they made both blue and red saws. The serial number on the OP's saw makes it difficult to date. Circa 1970 I would guess.
