I saw a few forum comments elsewhere that husky might be stopping the 3120 and 390xp production soon? Any truth to this? Replacement models coming next year or something?

Or if someone knows if there are other models that cross fit to this... One guy on another site tells me the gearboxes are interchangeable because most stihl are 26mm (25.5mm) shafts... I find it hard to believe ...

Need the gearbox (trimmer head still good) for a FS 56 ... used is okay. For my neighbor who wrapped up a bunch of twine in his and it ate out the bearings and everything inside... Even a working part # would be helpful.. my local stihl dealer wouldn't give me #... but did say its over $110...

I have 7 parts saws, 1 of which was bought here as a partial runner. Its the one with a B&C. I also have 2 very nice cylinders, 2 extra crankcases, lots of misc little parts, extra handles and a few plastics. Saws are mostly complete, I think one is missing a chain brake, another a muffler etc...

Been running my HD SS for a few weeks now. Only issue I have is that sometimes on larger or knotty pieces the ram gets stuck up against the wood, and when I try to disengage you hear a chattering sound. So what I've been doing is gently pushing the ram back off the log with a pry bar. doesn't...

Funny enough, I'm looking for a K095 as well 18" but in .050

I'm going to buy a SS HD this July !! Can't wait !! I'm not a good welder, so most of these mods are probably out of my reach, but I am so excited to start splitting wood without a maul, wedge, and axe anymore :)
