    Echo vl 500 carb rebuild question- Just the Carb?

    Thanks for the tip, sorry I forgot to mention that. This is a last resort after changing the spark plug, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh gas. Hopefully I will get a chance to mix some new gas (again) and see if I can get it to fire up. Otherwise to the shop we go.....

    Hey All, I got a rebuild kit for my saw, but after taking it apart and replacing everything I could, I've still got a couple of extra parts from the rebuild kit, and I'm wondering if its just the carb proper that I replace or should I start probing deeper? Thanks, Ben
