Somethin tells me this is a homeowners work...

Any time you see an extension ladder in a pic like that. Not a pro. Edit: never mind the abortion that is the rest of that "removal." Good grief-what a mess!

    Teaching Chainsaw

One of my favorite day dreams is of my boys being old enough to help their old man with firewood to keep their mama and little sister warm during the cold winter months. I pray that from today until about their early teen years not pass too quickly, but I think that's about the age I will start...

    MS661 Piston Availability

Apologies in advance for going off topic, but this thread definitely has got me thinking... Two of the smartest guys I knew in college were logistics/supply chain management majors. To hear them talk about it, it is every bit a science as, well, any science. I don't think stihl is holding out...

Husky 372XP or 562 question from a new guy

The 562 will do everything your 372 will do with bars up to 20" I agree that over 20 and the 372 starts to pull away. It's always a compromise. The 562 is in a different league as far as handling and fuel efficiency. Mine is very easily my favorite saw and the one I grab more than any other.

    It's pretty damn sad....................

QFT I was at my local husky dealer yesterday for a loop of chain. Walk in, guy saws, "can I help you?" "Yessir, I need a loop of Oregon LGX chain, 72 drivers, 3/8 pitch, fiddy gauge." He says (as he's gettin some huge catalog out) "well what saw is the chain for." SMH.... I didn't fuss about...
