    60cc Awesomeness, who is king?

The couple 562’s I have make the couple 362’ I had look like underpowered weak saws. One stock and one ported of each. Very good saws in my opinion.

Someone with a Stihl FS 460 clearing saw (or similar) please give me a couple dimensions

A dealer near me has one with the throttle mounted the same way.

    Husqvarna pet peeves...

If the screw wasn’t recessed good luck keeping the screwdriver in the slot of the screw on a running saw. I think that would be worse than just having to hit a hole and turning till it engages.

Only Stihl I Ever Liked may come back?

You can see it work here. It’s the Q models that have this.

Glad to hear it was something simple.

    Husqvarna 555fx

I have 2 of these I picked up in the last couple years. They are great for their intended purpose. The harness is by far the best I have ever tried. Are you following the starting procedure outlined in the owners manual? I have never had any problem with either one of mine. I always get it...

Dealer says Husqvarna 550xp and 545 are junk

I wouldn't listen to that dealer. I have a 550, 562, 576, and the 540. All autotune, all fantastic saws!

    Stihl HS-82R

I have the 81R and 81T. No complaints with either.

    Stihl FS 560

I feel for you man. I wish you luck. Keep us informed on how they decide to handle this.

    Stihl FS 560

I too found nobody had any idea about these big clearing saws when I was looking to purchase one. It's really a shame. I would demand they get this fixed as it should certainly have a smooth operation. This sounds like the dealer is not working very hard for you to make this right. I wish you...

    Stihl FS 560

I recently purchased a Husqvarna 555FX clearing saw and it is smooth as can be. It definitely sounds as if somethings wrong with it. I would not settle for that's how they run.

    Husqvarna 525pt5s

My dealer gave me a brand new one to demo recently. I loved the weight and the ease of extending it compared to the Stihls I have. Being new it was running rich from the factory but I didn't want to adjust it. It cut ok but nowhere near the 131. It may have done better after adjusting the carb...

    skid steer snow tracks

I just got a 257D to demo for a few days. We do a ton of snow removal and have always run tire machines. After talking with a lot of people it seems like the 2x7 series MTL's are awesome in the snow. I also like the ability to use it for other things in the summer on turf I can't take a tire...

Hack: Removing a chainsaw stuck in a tree

Please take Jolly up on his offer. There was not hardly a single second I wasn't cringing during that video! The safety gear would be the least of my worries.

    Talk me into an ms362

I recently picked up a like new 362c-m for a great deal. I tried it out a couple times and traded it within a week on a 576AT. The 362 didn't impress me like my 562 does.

    Oregon Micro-Lite 90PX chain sharpening

I recently picked up the Timberline sharpener. After seeing the difference between a Timberline sharpened chain, hand filed, and new chain I am a true believer in their product. In my experience hand filing has been a better method when compared to mechanical.

so 562xp or 372xp or other

You will not be disappointed with the 550.

so 562xp or 372xp or other

I just cut with them side by side recently as I had just picked up a like new 362 cm. The 362 did not impress me near as much as the 562 and the feel wasn't as good.

so 562xp or 372xp or other

If you are replacing the 261 the 550 will not disappoint. My cousin has only run Stihl and Echo previously in his business. After 5 minutes behind the 550 this past weekend he excitedly said he is going to get one this week. He was amazed with the power, weight, and handling of the saw.

so 562xp or 372xp or other

Go with the 550xp or 562xp. I have both and just swapped a 362cm for a 576AT. The 362 was nowhere near the saw the 562 is IMHO. The 562 is a very strong 60cc saw.
