Want to Sell Husqvarna 55 rancher 46mm parts

I'd be interested in the cylinder and piston Mostly the cylinder. Is it own and in good condition? Thx

    Chest ascender question

Get a chest harness. Really helps while climbing. And is great while resting! Doesn't get in the way of your gear, tens your rope wrench or whatever, and eases the wear and tear on yer bod'. Can be had for about $65 or so.

    Husqvarna 50/51/55 - Meteor P&C Performance Build

Yeah, it is quite lifted up. Too bad. I ran it today. We'll see how long it goes. Anyone else had problems with coating chipping off like this?

I will take it if you haven't sold it yet. Do you have a bar you'd be interested in selling, too?

    Husqvarna 50/51/55 - Meteor P&C Performance Build

I gotta check, but the squish on Four Paws kit was pretty high - .062 with the gasket. I will check mine one of these days... I wanna see if it self destructs with that coating issue first!

    SRT help

Have to agree with the big shot recommendation. Don't know how people climb without one. And SRT gives you a little leeway in setting the rope in not having to isolate a single limb. And it's easier on the ropes, too.

    Husqvarna 50/51/55 - Meteor P&C Performance Build

Any ideas on why the coating chipped up like that? I didn't have that problem with the OEM cylinder. This is only my second port job, so if I'm doing something wrong I'd like to know what it is!

    Husqvarna 50/51/55 - Meteor P&C Performance Build

Actually, I just took a diamond bit (not one of the raspier double cut carbides, which chipped it up in the first place) and smoothed down all the edges very carefully. I also took a piece of sandpaper on a split bit (as used in other threads to remove buildup) and gave her a sanding. It...

    Husqvarna 50/51/55 - Meteor P&C Performance Build

I got my Meteor kit today and started right out with a little porting. Widened the intake and exhaust as much as I felt I could, and hogged out those transfers. Came out very nice, but had some chipping of the coating. I did chamfer the ports, but wonder if I need to go back in and clean up...

    big climber

You will spend a lot of dough on climbing equipment. It ain't cheap, and you probably want to buy it new. I invested probably close to $1500 or so to get all my gear, mebbe more. Nice when you get it all together, and it is GREAT exercise. You will feel it after your first few times. Really...

So what did you do today?

My daughter and I whacked down another one in my yard. That makes 15 or so, so far. Making some progress. Her first time with a chainsaw. Didn't realize how complicated using one properly was! Throttle position and pressure to get the saw right in the powerband was something I took for...

I want to improve my climbing system....again

I use a left hand CMI ascender to a left side foot loop, and a right CMI foot ascender, and a rope wrench. Works very well, easy to get a rhythm going. I wear a chest harness clipped by a 'biner to center hole of my wrench tender pulley to hold me upright, and for resting. It also tends the...

So what did you do today?

Cut down one more little tree out back... Cut it up... Chopped everything up... Hauled it outta there and cleaned up... Woodpile is getting bigger! Back yard is getting much more open and we'll get more sun on the garden. Done for now. That was a lot of work!

Husqvarna 55 Rancher Open Port Porting Job

OK. Based on the cumulative skepticism on my blowdown numbers, I went back and rechecked those timing numbers. It turns out my assistant Igor incorrectly read the dial! Below are the right numbers, and I put them in the proper order, too. I was 10 degrees off on the transfer number. So...

So what did you do today?

Started to take down this tree that has been shading my wife's gardens. Nice tree, but it has to go. I'm about half done... Had a little rain delay late this afternoon, and I had all my gear out in the yard. After a little low branch trimming. Nice shot with the Big Shot to get this rope...

    First Top Handle!

Great score on the 330T! When I went to the Echo dealer nearby, they didn't have a lot of the models they listed on their website anymore - said they are discontinued. The website showed 4 models but they only carry 3 now, I think. I believe the 360T is no more.
