    Bar and chain for milling

I prefer regular 3/8" over 3/8" LP. Sturdier bar and chain and it oils much better. File the chain with a 10 degree angle opposed to a regular chain, which has a 30-35 degree angle. Iggesund R2 for Stihl with the 3003 mount is also available in 1.5mm.

    mustang gt or camaro ss?

I test drove the ecoboost mustang with the touring pack a few months back. It surprised me. I'm a v8 guy, but damn that ecoboost is fast. Cool turbo sound too.

    Advanced Falling Cuts

I don't know if this is the right thread to post in, but i'll leave it here anyways. I took down a Poppulus tremula this week. Fences on two sides, a steep slope on the third side with the main road at the bottom and a bridge with a busy walkway on the 4th side. The tree was leaning over the...

    Wedge and pull or jack?

A rope and two heavy duty ratchet straps should fix that problem. tie the rope as high as you can get it on the stem, and make knots on the rope to hook up the straps. Tighten one ratchet strap at a time.

    Renting a wood chipper?

60cc Saws the "Best" general purpose saw concept proven over time? Maybe

A 50cc saw is what I use most of the time. Next step is a 70cc saw, but I can understand why some might choose a 60cc saw over a 50cc or 70cc. 60 Cc is a ok allround saw, but for me 50cc is perfect.

Jonsered CS2252 idle, winter operation and temperature

Yes. That's ok, the main thing is that the saw starts easy. Here is a summary of the starting procedure just incase. Cold: 1. Engage the chocke, 2. push the primer/purge bubble 5-6 times, 3. push in the decomp button, 4. pull until the saw fires, 5. push down on the chocke/start button to...

Jonsered CS2252 idle, winter operation and temperature

Hey, welcome to the forum. The blue winterkit is meant to be placed over the recoil cover, restricting the cold air that is sucked in. Note: It should never be used when it's warm, there's a chance that it may fry the piston and cylinder. Infact I never use the winter kit on any of my saws...
