    Anybody miss winter yet...?

    firewood tractors

    I don't do a whole lot of wood cutting any more , we have 3.5 acre's here that has a lot of white pine some hardwood I do what I can to keep it cleaned up cut a few trees a year...I buy most of my fire wood ' but it has to be dumped up front and then moved down back and stacked near the cellar...

    I like mine ,its a 5 ton homelite I picked up at home depot....I use it mostly for stuff that's gets by a little big from the gas splitting . I have also used it on some pretty good sized red oak last year . Some of that was 30 " dia that I had to noodle down to 1/4 and then split it, it done...

    Still burning

    About done here started sometime in Oct ..43 here tonight burning a little oil....probably burnt 5 cords stayed nice and warm.
