I'd say it's just a simple question. Did you replace the crank seals when the saw originally failed? I reread your original post and did not see them listed. I'd say if you still had an air leak, it would run about ten minutes before locking up. Don't ask me how I know. I've done the same. Also...

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that your saw developed an air leak. You then replaced the damaged parts, but did not fix what caused the failure. Crank seals are pretty cheap insurance.

Take sparkplug out, dump a liberal amount of premix in plug hole. Slosh it around for a while and dump back out. Hold saw upside down and pull starter a bunch of times until remaining premix comes out. Replace sparkplug and get it started. It's gonna smoke like hell at first, but should be fine...

If you go and buy another tube, then you are bound to find the first tube you misplaced. It's happened to me quite a few times like that. Happy hunting!

Is the piston/cylinder scored? Any transfer visible through the exhaust port? If so, I'd offer him $20. If no transfer is visible I'd offer $40-$50. Just my opinion though.

So I just went and looked at my ms210 and yes it is the Walbro 215 and yes it is a genuine Walbro bought from my local dealer for under $25.

I'm not exactly sure which walbro I was sold, I'd have to go look. And the jets don't line up with the tank vent holder/ filler piece, so I used my tach to set the carb. I set the carb with the filter cover off and the vent holder moved out of the way. Worked great for me and best of luck to you.
