ChrisPA; Not sure what a cat muffler is. What earlier muffler do you mean? As far as the carb, when you puller trigger there is always a hesitation, then it's like it catches and revs up. It's like a delay from the throttle portion to the intake. Definitely not a fan of the cable!

Anybody know if the Jonsered CS2138 has the chrome piston, aluminum cylinder? I have a craftsman 42/18, and Poulan Pro PP4218AVX all of which are very similar. Read the post by excess650, so thought this might be the right thread to post.

Rx7man: I believe my saw, same as chuckwood pic, is not a removable cam. I've seen other saws with a sleeve type cam but not on this one. Perhaps a newer version of the 65 did, I'm not sure. In terms of the welch plugs, I typically remove them before cleaning.

Thought, I would replace the fuel line in case it's deteriorated. According to the IPL, fuel line is 501426501, which has a form fitted grommet on the line to seal inside/outside tank. The replacement seems to be 503697201 which is a typical Husqvarna pigtail fuel line and one grommet. Anyone...

Anyone know if the Husqvarna 65 or 77 can be converted using a Stens type module? If so, how do you set stator plate for timing?
