Converting autotune to a different saw

You can convert anything to anything. Just throw the money time and engineering at it. You could convert it to Mtronic if you wanted to. 3D printer, welder, mill, lathe, jb weld, you could do it.

    Craigslist laughs

It would be kinda funny to go take it out with a tree spade and leave the hole. Or rip it out with a large tractor and leave the hole.

    Another Oil Thread 🙄

I have the same opinion of most engines. Outside of a design flaw or a massive amount of time in use, as long as it has the correct amount of oil, changed somewhere close to proper time/ freshish mixed, and somewhere near the correct spec you will never have an oil related issue before...

    Another Oil Thread 🙄

I have no clue. I am being a smart ass in an oil thread while providing their info. Schaeffers spec sheet says meets or exceeds. I am fully aware that it can't technically meet all that at once. I am also fully aware that just because they haven't paid for the testing and/or licensing...

    Another Oil Thread 🙄

Never said it was certified for it. It is BETTER! Meets or Exceeds!!!!!!! I was poking fun at it earlier when I posted the wrong data sheet. And here is a little more gas for the mix. https://www.jalos.or.jp/onfile/pdf/2T_EV_LIST.pdf

    What's on your bench

Because you have already taken it on mentally to the point where it bugged you enough to post about it. And you touched it last so anything bad after this is your fault.

    I got a 16'' bar for my MS 261 C-M

Since a situation where kickback is likely to occur is not dogged in on a full bar length cut the chain is moving the same speed around the tip of the bar regardless of bar length, the mechanical advantage of a longer lever will make the force of the bar coming up rotate the whole assembly with...

    I got a 16'' bar for my MS 261 C-M

Actually physics would state that the mechanical advantage of a longer lever gives more force…….

Switching a Stihl MS362 from .325 back to 3/8 pitch. Good call?

I have a 9 pin .325 large spline rim from Stihl. I got it for my MS441. If I remember right it is similar size to an 8 pin 3/8. If they made an 8pin .325 rim in the large spline I would have one. I have 8pin .325 in mini and standard spline.

    Garage heating options

    Garage heating options

It is a 3 car attached garage about 24 by 32. Since this is just a garage I don't want to mess around with water because if I am away and the fire is out it either freezes or if I use antifreeze it will still take a long time to heat the system back up. I want wood fired, no water and not...
