I don't think we speak the same language but hey more power to you lol I have never messed with Reed valves or Poulans here. Yes 360 is a great saw. At least you're happy with the deal that's all that matters! Lol Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What's so special about it? I'm not a Poulan guy. All Stihl here. Never met a Poulan that would run long enough to appreciate its light weight lol Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Jughead500 you traded a ms360 for two Poulans? I read that entire post for that? I'm sorry I don't understand why you would do that lol are those Poulan made of gold? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Trencher converted to mini skidder?

Haha you'd have to get a smoking deal on one to make it a good option over a tractor. A tractor can be so much more versatile. This is a purpose built machine which makes it better in some ways but if I was spending what these typically bring, I'd probably get a tractor instead. Sent from my...

    Trencher converted to mini skidder?

Thank you guys! Right now is a really busy time of year for me and I haven't been able to get in the woods. Even my saws have went almost untouched for a month or so. I'll get back to it when I can. I just had all my wood cut ahead of winter so now it's work overtime and some other shop projects...

    Trencher converted to mini skidder?

He loves riding on it! He'll be 6 this weekend. Backs are getting enough traction to do wheelie so I think they're good on traction. Fronts are filled with fluid already, chains would only help if the tires would stay on the ground lol ballast first then I'll go from there. Sent from my XT1254...

    Trencher converted to mini skidder?

Not horrible wheelies but pulling those tops out we had to trim them up a bit first as they were tangled up good. It would pull a wheelie until front tires were up a foot or so then the backs would spin a bit. It was usually bouncing the front end as the backs were grabbing and slipping. All of...

    Trencher converted to mini skidder?

MCB, glad to see you join back in on this! Your Deere is still impressive! I like that thing. Yes this is in the 4000# range. I'm going to add some weight to the blade. Also wanting to add grapple to blade hopefully this winter. Trying to find a deal on cylinders first. Yes blade angles. No it...

    A junkie's junk..

Log trailer bringing in some red oak. This thing works perfect and is handy as all get out. A huge plus is it's so lightweight that it's not putting a dent in fuel consumption to pull empty and even loaded it's lightweight compared to a bigger trailer. With a gross of 7k, I think it has payload...

    Anyone burn Sycamore

Yea a guy down the road gave me a huge sycamore log this spring, it was a tree they dropped at one point, the trunk was all that was left. 30" average diameter, 30' long. I got half of it home and have been putting off the other half but I already drug it out and had agreed to take it. At least...
