    Snow me your presents

    My best friend since first grade got me this. And I am not sure if it is my favorite because I had been wanting a set for a long time but was too cheap to buy it or if because she actually paid attention while I was talking and got them for me. Joe

    Stihl BR600, need an expert

    I will have to look in the Gold book again but I don't recall ever seeing a .20 setting referenced. Out of curiosity where did you get a gauge from that will fit under the rocker and in between the locating tabs? Joe

    Stihl BR600, need an expert

    Ten on both, that is the only feeler gauge Stihl sells that I have ever seen. (And yes you have to use a Stihl feeler gauge, pretty much the only one that will fit). Did the mechanic happen to replace the cam? As cheap as they are I ALWAYS replace them. Joe

    None of the shops that I have listed as of yet are where I work. Just want to make sure it is not a conflict of interest. Joe

    Great dealer list?

    Free setup and warranty registry on all new purchases. (If it was up to me all AS members would get a free hat, unfortunately I am just the shop foreman and that kind of stuff is out of my control).

    Husqvarna 350 Lost Spark

    Did you buy it new, have proof of purchase, register warranty? Check with your local dealer but I believe the coil is lifetime warranty to original purchaser with proof of purchase. Joe

    Edit:::Amazing Husqvarna dealer FOUND!!!!!

    We are also an Echo/Shindaiwa/Bear Cat dealer and I remember one time we had a commercial landscaper client that brought in a PB770T backpack blower with an intermittent run problem. I pulled the covers and the recoil and the flywheel had been rubbing on the coil. Proceeded to tear the unit...

    Edit:::Amazing Husqvarna dealer FOUND!!!!!

    The way warranty works is if the repair cost exceeds 50% of the value of the unit the manufacturer typically replaces the machine. That is not difficult at all to do with the cost of a piston/cylinder, gaskets, seals, (typically when one has been leaking a complete re-seal is called for because...

    Sold 372xp xtorq p/c new oem

    There was a change to the cases when they went to the XT, if putting a XT cylinder on older cases there is some grinding that needs to be done for it to sit flush. Joe
