    McCulloch SP125C replacement Carburetor

I know this is a super old post but we use chips in all our mac race saws and putting a 101 in a sp frame is a piece of cake. takes an hour to do it. i have built a ton of 101 125 race saws and anyone can do it .all our saws start on a half a pull with a std. flywheel and 30 degrees of timing...

    Aftermarket carburetors for Stihl chainsaws

I ordered two of the 090 curbs off fleabag for my mac 9 hot saw. They work great. I have been chasing a hi lean condition on that saw with the old hl's from the old go cart days, and the ones from China are great. I don't trust things from China but they were so cheap if they didn't work we...

    harvester bar or belly bar

. l ran a 404 80 gauge on my mac 9 last season. Did a lot of work on the chain, but was still too big for the saw. We cut big logs in our local races and the bar makes the saw a little hard to handle. Changed to a stock bar off my 372 with the heal cut to match a 10 tooth sprocket. Now the saw...

    372xp

Yes I used one last weekend on a big ponderosa. I have a 36" mill and use a real ripping chain. I used it because my old 380 husky didn't want to idle that morning and the bar is the same. Don't get in a hurly and it will work just fine. Mike

I must agree. My 2002 with 8 tooth socket eats as fast as anyone on the hill. 32" bar and full chiz. 3/8 50. mike

Best way to break in a chainsaw??

We soaked the chain for my wifes hot saw in prolong for a week or so. Don't know if it helped or not. Did a 10.6 in a 30 in sugar pine log last weekend . I think it was the nitro that helped the most-----mike

Best way to break in a chainsaw??

I must side with stinkbait. I have built hundreds of motors of all kinds. If the machine work is solid, the dog is ready to hunt. A new saw is a machinests work of art, and should be run like intended from the start. If it isn't, lets hope it blows in the first year. Keep them clean, run good...
