I think if you gently serarate the spacer plate and push it back towards cylinder carb will clear studs--Note the grand prize you scored-original Poulan spark plug!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care of it. All years I have only found 1 and thats with collecting a lot of saws--Keep us posted.
