If mid is 50-60 then I'm between that class as I have a 40ish, 60ish and 70ish That said, I run my 241 more than anything for firewood and end up grabbing my 461 for the big/bigger stuff. Will be interesting to hear what the rest of you say for mid range if it's 50-60 cc :)

If it's the saw you want, I say go for it. The 461 is a lot more saw than the 362 and very good for the bigger stuff. I'm very happy with my 461 and it wears a 25 inch bar

Like MountainHigh... I would like to "try" a 462 but can't justify it. The 461 I have does everything I'll ever need to do and IMO... the 461 is still a pretty darn good saw especially for me since I just cut for firewood.

I've got one of these saws as chipper1 said "they are good runners" If I did not have one, I'd be all over this .. very fair price for a nice clean saw GLWS

A little late I know. However, I too had a coil go out on the same model saw a couple years ago, replaced it and it's been "good to go" since then. Glad you got it sorted out.
