Looking at getting a 1490 XP and would like to know if anyone has one and if they like it. Would also like to know how much a new one is. Dealer here in Edmonton, Canada doesn't have one on stock and would like to know a little more about them from someone who has used one.

The outriggers perform normally and have lots of power. Its as soon as I engage the boom hydrolics its sounds as if the hydrolics are under load.

It is slow from the upper and lower controls. The temperature is 10 C and the bucket controls are not joystick. I have checked the Hydro tool control and is off. Thanks

I have a Altec LR111 - 55. I have had no problems with it. Its on a 94 GMC and have had it recently certified. It is the only lift i've used, so I can't comment on Versalifts. I have no problem recommending Altec. Good luck with it. I bought my unit in the States and it was much cheaper.

I have an 94' 427 and it is sluggish up the hills. I have tuned it up best I can without modifications (Plugs, wires, Filters, Etc), but runs pretty good. I have about 90000 miles and maintenance is key at this stage. Good luck with it.

Did it make a big difference getting the retrofit? As of now they haven't fixed it, but expect it to be done soon.
