    Husky 61 wont rev up.

I'm very aware. Thanks though, you may have read that this was not my saw. All my saws run perfect without carbon build up, that's also attributed to the oil I use. Actually one of my saws still has a screen and that's the 562xpw.

Ya, none of my saws have a screen.

    Husky 61 wont rev up.

Hey guys been a while. Life is real busy for me these days, haven't done anything with saws in a long while. A friend asked me to look at his saw for him, so thought I'd post it up here, he couldn't figure it out, so this goes to show, keep it simple!! It would idle but not rev, he thought it...

You want a nice Husky 50? Missing clutch cover, needs piston, cylinder should clean up. Probably the cleanest 50 you'll ever see. You pay shipping.

Who should I get to port my new Husqvarna 555?

First three names for that saw that come to mind are Masterboobs, Bsmelling, and tlandrum.

Just station my opinion, about knowledge that's all. Chainsaws are a hobby. I'll take you on any day with what I do for a living.

    Swap meet...

I've cut through some hard plating in the squish, got to go slow and turn slow it seems?? Works for me, I can take pic of my cutter setup if you want. I've had much better luck with HSS then any insert I've tried, on my lathe anyway.

    Swap meet...

I find that HSS works just fine for cutting squish bands.

I didn't have one, but wasn't that a big of a deal, just had to keep running it on the rich side.

Thanks! Not really troubling, I had everything needed, it's just that I'd rather not spend a bunch a time filing rocked chains.

Certainly steep ground, put the truck to work today! Had to skid all the logs up to the road with the truck.

Yes it's private timber company land, you can go in for $20. Oh the saws ran pretty good. I'm just picky. Thanks for the compliments. It is beautiful out there.

No it's just a slot, this screwdriver was just slightly big. Thanks for the offer though.

Sorry guys no video today. Saw ran good, but was on the rich side and the screwdriver I brought didn't fit the needle, so I couldn't lean it out at all today. Rocked the chains on both saws today right away!! GRRRR, they were never the same after that, took allot of filing.
