    Can I save this tree?

Hi. This is a red maple in my mom's yard that I climbed as a boy. Now in my fifties. It has started to rot where a large limb was removed years ago. Is there anything I can do to save this tree? Sent from my CLT-L04 using Tapatalk

    Pioneer p39 thoughts?

I have been eyeballing a pioneer p39 that's on the interweb. Guy wants $50 and says it runs. Anyone have any experience with one of these? I don't want it for an everyday saw, just for giggles.

    Husqvarna 365 x torq experience?

Was talking to a guy from the local saw shop and he mentioned he had a 2012 husqvarna 365 in on trade. Used to be a forestry saw and said it's in good shape. (I haven't seen it yet) said $300 is the price and offered to drop it off for me to try. After my recent 570 debacle, I thought I'd ask...

    Chinese husqvarna parts

I while ago I picked up a husqvarna 570 on the cheap knowing it would need some work. After a fuel hose, filter, and carb kit, and new piston ring. It ran gloriously for ten minutes before making an awful rattle and quitting. I have been doing some research and have found aftermarket parts...

New dawgs for an old dog

As I was puttering away in the garage, my mind kept wandering to my new to me husky 570 rat saw. It came without dawgs/ bucking spikes or whatever you want to call them. I was first inclined to make a fancy set using the computer and water jet at work, but that didn't seem right for this...

    Husqvarna 570 new to me.

I've been lurking the interweb looking for a bargain pro style saw around 70cc. It seems there are lots of deals on smaller saws that homeowners typically buy. The larger saws seem to be scarce because the people who know what they are, know what they're worth. Well tonight was my night, an ad...

    Poulan Pro 5020av review

Hi all, I came across this site while researching a chainsaw purchase. I read some mixed reviews about this saw so I thought I'd throw my experience into the mix. About me, I'm a homeowner who installed a wood stove last winter after the great propane price hike of 2013/14. LOVE the wood heat...
