Cut on some big Ash today! Had the wife running hydros. Was a good day! Also got to test out this fellas Echo timberwolf.. i liked it. Light, tough, and had good torque. But i think think ms 290 18" b&c did circles around the cs 590 20 b&c.
It's our state tree here! Produces a really nice flower. And is "FAIR" firewood indeed. Burns quick. The tree i worked up had been struck by lightning. Not sure for others but its been a brut to split up.
Oh yeah. I think you'll like it. Ain't the same without one. I use it constantly now. From branches to big rounds to stacking firewood. Love the hand extensions!
It has been a good day. Came across a nice old saw! Got two last rounds to split up my tulip poplar for the season. Got a heck of a good start for the next season. Kicking my feet up for the evening no more splitting for the year!!!
Love the Jersey and Michigan style axe heads. 3-3 1/2 axe and 6-8lb mauls. Can't beat em! And a hickory handle. Nothing better. Would like to try an ash one sometime!
Thats also what it came with. Three extra chains one being a green chain he had labled as a limb chain. Was a good ole fella! Sold an old jeep and took saw and some cash! Haven't ran it yet. But looking forward to it! I guess the echo maybe be more of a limb saw now!

Appreciate the good words. It seems like a good solid all around saw. It came with an 18 inch bar and chain thinking about doing the 20 inch bar and chain just don't know what's going to be the best options for it! Looking forward to using it soon here in the next week or so
