    CB classic edge 350 controller.

good morning. I recently moved and my classic edge is now 100 feet away from the house. Can I instal the fire star WiFi controller on my boiler or does it require certain things? I read that it has to have a certain update, but I'm not sure how I find that out.

    Installing outdoor boiler

So I'm getting ready to instal my CB350 at my new place. This instal is going to be in my heat pump. One question I have for the people that have the exchangers in their heat pump is. Have you ever noticed output issues once you instal the exchanger when you are running the AC side of the heat...

    OWB shop heater loop

If I wanted to run a loop to my shop for a 130k btu heater. Would I just be able to get away with using the pump on the boiler? Boiler Will sit directly behind the shop so the run will prob be under 50 feet. I was thinking just run the loop with on off valves and splice return before the valves...

    Question for the CB owners

I have a classic edge 350. Is their a reason they used a rubber door gasket on these? I’m wondering if I can replaced the upper door gasket with rope instead of rubber. The bottom ash door is a rope gasket? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Splitter question

Just went to replace a cylinder on my splitter. It’s a 30 ton unit. Opened the box and see they sent me a 35 ton replacement cylinder. Will this adversely affect anything on the machine If I put the 35 ton cylinder on a 30 ton splitter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Classic edge 350 question.

For any of the CB classic edge owners. In the bottom reaction chamber their is a shield that covers half of the heat transfer tubes. Mine has somehow became loose and falls down. So every time I open up the bottom chamber to clean it out I have to jam the shield back up with the clean out rod...

Central boiler front air inlet drip edge.

So I just received the front air inlet drip edge part that CB sells. It didn’t come with any instructions. Where does this get welded. The only spot on the front air inlet piece it looks like it would go it right on top of it. Has anyone else added this piece. If so where does it get welded...

    Central boiler classic edge 350

So I decided to replace some things in the boiler while I had it shut down. I went to replace the upper refractory fire box. I thought they would just come right out. But it doesn’t seem that way. Do anyone know if their is a special way to get these out or do I just need to beat on them...

    Central boiler 350 build up

Ok for the life of me I can’t figure this out. It’s my first year burning a CB 350 classic edge. I have to pull the main air inlet off every couple of weeks because it’s getting a river of creosote built up in it. I replaced the door seal I only burn ash that had been split and stacked for a...

    Central boiler classic edge question

I have a classic edge 350. It’s my first winter running it. I noticed today when I check the water level it was 3/4 up the fill tube. When I unplugged the pump it returned to somewhat normal. Is that normal? I wouldn’t think the water level would fluctuate at all since it’s just pumping water...

    Thermostatic valve question

I am getting ready to plumb in my Classic Edge 350. I would like to have my oil furnace heat the wood boiler loop if the wood boiler shuts down. Hardy H2

Has anyone figured out a way to keep these units from smoking so much? I am thinking about Hooking one up, my thought was if I burn my seasoned wood in it, but on fill it half full it wouldn’t smoke as much. Compared to filling it to the top and walking away. I am home a lot, so I could load...
