2 stroke diagnostics keep it simple. Just sharing some knowlage.

Hey Friends. I have seen to many people get ripped off because of poor or lacking diagnostics. On two strokes it really is not to complicated and the tools are not overly expensive. I put a video on my Youtube channel trying to help share some knowledge. even if you are not doing the repair, at...

Trimmer shootout batt vs fuel, Milwaukee m18 fueled, vs Husqvarna 536lilx, vs 525rx

Oh ya multiple times. Even took it directly off when that hot and straight onto the charger. It charged where the Milwaukee had to cool first. The 536 is super smooth and a joy to use.

    Is 0.5 hp worth $50?

I have only ran a couple husqvarna pole saws. And every time I feel that it would be nice if they where lighter and yet more powerful. I do wonder how the Husqvarna battery one would be with the motor at the head. It wouldn't have the shaft to spin. But that is a different subject and I have no...

Trimmer shootout batt vs fuel, Milwaukee m18 fueled, vs Husqvarna 536lilx, vs 525rx

Well I wanted to see a head to head on these trimmers and found nothing so.... I did one my self pinning the "professional grade" Milwaukee m18 fueled String trimmer against 2 of Husqvarna best offerings. The professional 536lilx and the 525rx . Enjoy the very long video but I doubt anyone will...

New Member, shopping for new saw. Help!

We don't Charge for firmware updates on saws we sell. I can understand if you buy it somewhere else and don't support your local dealer. They need to stay open someway.

Almost pulled the trigger on a dolmar 6100 good deal?

    The bar and chain

The speed cut is a light .325nk. Which would balance well on the 545 husqvarna xbars are a bit heavier and a bit cheaper (here) and so far have been good bars.

    The bar and chain

Oh I don't know I never shipped a bar overseas it might be cheaper there locally.

    The bar and chain

The 545 comes with .325 nk. I would stay with that and a 18" speed cut balances well on the 545. I can get you a fair price on one if you like.

    Husky 445 from Hell

Good deal. That will make you a good little firewood saw. And enough know how now to keep her running for many years.

    Husky 445 from Hell

you replaced the carb but not the fuel lines? Did you do your line test with the filter on? Filter can cause enough resistance to collapse a bad line that flows free without. My practice is to just replace the whole fuel system at once, filter, hoses, primer bulb ECT. Especially if you are...

    Husky 445 from Hell

Hmm that is just flat out interesting. Can't wait tell you find the problem. Could the fuel line be collapsing on it self? Hate to tell you to throw more parts at it but.......

    Husky 445 from Hell

Hmmm sounds like a clogged spark screen or air filter. I know you checked them. Take the bar and chain off and try it?

    New chainsaw ideas

I agree. Ergonomics are differen an each one and one will feel best. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to use a saw that just fits.

    Dolmar ps420 starts then bogs

Anytime one component of the fuel system fails. (Primer bulb) how far behind can the rest of the system be? When ever i mess with a fuel problem i replace all the componets. Overkill? Maybe. Not having to tear into 3 times replacing things that I already had my hands on. Worth it.

    Dolmar ps420 starts then bogs

Ya carb. Debris, hard diaphragm, ECT.

    New chainsaw ideas

Makita/ Dolmar 6100 is a solid performing 60cc saw. And worth a look.

Dolmar 6100 just finished, pretty impressive!

Yep not even a muff mod. It does have aftermarket bucking spikes from fordf150 so I guess not a 100% lol and that is just my 25deg semi chisel Oregon firewood chain. One reason I never wanted to modify it is i did not want to lose how easy it starts. 3-4 pulls max from sitting 1 month. 1-2 pulls...
