I've use an old paint can opener that has the 90 degree tip and round loop for hanging it up on the other end. grind a little of the 90 degree end so it fits nicely in between the seal and the crankshaft. after inserting it use a small pry bar under the loop hanger end and pivot it off the end...

so I can get away without the heater??

sorry If I missed something but- So a small unit for carbs doesnt need to be heated because the ultra sonic waves create heat on their own? so a cheapy harbor freighter without heat would do an adequate job? or is it worth the extra $$$ for a heated unit.... thanks.

I can get a coil/ module tomorrow.

I need some education on the Stihl 4 mix engines. I have an HT101? that I have to look at tomorrow. power head runs poor. this thing is all over the place as far as issues. sometimes wont idle. stalls on initial acceleration. sometimes will rev to high rpm and maintain rpm or just flatten out...

the more I look at this primer block and valve the more irritated I get. this thing is really tiny and weak. and appearantly unrepairable. Ive never seen these parts in a repair kit.

The blower is an Echo ES-2000- it is a combination blower and vacuum shredder. nice shape. that is kind of why I dont want to trash it just yet. Impulse lines etc. all good. Runs great once you can get it started. I will check at work tomorrow in the storage area to see if I can find a old one...

The blower is in really nice shape. piston and cylinder look as new--- how do I go about finding a possible walbro substitue. maybe its not possible, but ideas are always welcome!! the carburetor is a Zama C1U-K32 thanks,
