A few months ago they had a ton of Husky and no Stihl so I think it's just what the last shipment that came in was.

    Sold Stihl MS241c

Great running and cutting saw. Not perfect but still pretty nice. Has one small crack on the top cover as seen and a few scuffs. Has 18" bar/chain and extra new chain. I would really prefer to sell locally and I would like to get 450 for it. Has owners man in plastic bag. Located in the Chehalis...

    Been playing with a MS400C

Yea I'm interested if it would keep up with a stock 462 after porting or just best to go with the 462 from the gate.

    Bar/Chain Conversion attempt MS361

The case on the stihls is threaded and really thick in that area. They are secured with the treads and just use the raised area as a stop when it bottoms out... I have seen plenty fail over the years in that area. The fix is to install 056 mag studs into the case after you drill and tap to the...

Yea my bad I was just referring to the d009 mount not the smaller k095....

    Bar/Chain Conversion attempt MS361

Or you can turn your bar studs down to the size of husky... 12.1mm down to 9mm... Would be nice if they sold them... Hint hint... Super easy fix to run the husky bars on Stihl... Easier yet before the studs were tapered.... If you don't have a lathe you can tape up the treads good put it in a...

Makita 6421 with NWP 84cc p&c bogs down after running fine for 20 minutes

Wow 150 for a OEM 7901 PC kit is a great deal.

    Deciding on a new saw

I would just keep your 361 and buy a 25" bar for the once in a while cutting just use nice sharp skip chain and don't horse it around... However if you are set on getting a new saw the 462 would be the way to go for sure if you are wanting more power and a one saw plan. More proven at this point...

Makita 6421 with NWP 84cc p&c bogs down after running fine for 20 minutes

I would keep an eye on the piston... If you change it out now you can prob get a 54mm AM one for 30-40. But the current one may last quite a while. Just don't let it ruin your cylinder so I suggest replacing it or looking at the piston on a semi regular basis to make sure its not getting worse...

    Stihl ms261 piston question (burned)

Most coils the other end of the lead is just threaded into the coil so the coil end of the lead also needs checked.

    Stihl 024 hard to pull

Hard to tell if it's the carb or ignition timing from what you said. Definitely looks wet in the pictures but not sure if you took them before or after you were playing with it with the plug in and the lever off does it still pull over hard.. If it pulls over easier in the off position it's your...
