Stihl 032 AV - worth restoring?

No is not worth it. For the money, you spend on the AV32, you better buy a new MS250 new. Has a good saw. Thas what I would do.

Best saw to pull a 40"+/- bar?

Next time you run on something big make a video and posted. I would like to see the 395 with 60 bar and walk to the tree and start cutting. That shouldn't be a problem at all.

Best saw to pull a 40"+/- bar?

Do you have a smart phone? Not a big deal to make a video and posted in the forum to back up your statement. If you are a pro like you claim it. I don't see any problem to do it. And yes. I do run big saw's. Much bigger then you ever will and ever know.

The 3120 is 118.8cc close to 880 but the manufacturing recommend only 42" Max, don't know why..... Here is what Stihl claim for...

Best saw to pull a 40"+/- bar?

MS 880 will do up to 60" bar and you don't have to worry if will do or not... MS 661...can do great with 32 bar. My 460 Magnum is great with 36 bar. Never try 40-42. Never have the chance...
