    Sold Jonsered 2253

Selling my 2016 jonsered 2253, At12 carb with latest updates the last time it was checked a few months ago, had around 40 hours on it I believe. It’s had the muffler gutted, decomp plugged, timing advanced and the squish has been tightened to .018. I put a larger 562 spike on it as well. It’s a...

    Sold Jonsered 930 super

Survivor late model 930 super, 175 psi compression on a gauge that reads about 20 psi low. Runs awesome. Has the rare 8 mm conversion studs so you can run large husky mount bar. Can get piston pic if anyone wants one but take my word for it, not many come up for sale in this shape. If you are a...

    Best sounding/loudest chainsaw

My jonsered 930 with the jungle muffler makes a beautiful loud sound in the wood, sounds like no other saw. 346xp and 024 are pretty loud with a muffler mod. But hands down my Mac 10-10 with the reed muffler is the loudest saw I have ever heard.

    372xp carb question

Does any body know what figure B-46 does? I lost that part when I took the carb off to put a carb kit in it. Seems like a limiter cap holder? It slid over the two high/low screws. I was wondering as to if it was a necessary part.

    372xp squish

Is it ok to check squish after all assembled with 1194? Or before final assembly?

    372 cylinder

Is this even worth sanding I was just going to put a new piston in and run it. The cylinder has one fin broken off top too.

    Will a 562xp clutch fit on 550/545

I heard somewhere that a 562xp clutch will fit on the 550/545. The 562 clutch is a 3 shoe, and is supposedly stronger.

    Auto tune compensates for.....

What are the things autotune compensates for? Does it compensate for when you run the saw dry? What about leaner fuel mixes?

    545 vs 460 rancher

I already knew most saws sold in Home Depot or lowes were cheesy compared to a "real" pro saw. Well today I found out even more when I had a chance to compare my 545 against my buddy's 460 rancher. I expected the 460 to outcut my 545 being 60cc's cutting 16-18" logs. Well it wasn't even close I...

Echo Cs 590 Base gasket removal

Does anyone know if the squish is safe to do a base gasket removal on a Cs 590? I read somewhere the squish is .039 with the gasket

    Factory test ran

all chainsaws and a lot of power equipment comes from the factory test ran, it often sits on shelves for quite a while, do manufacturers just use ethanol free to get around problem of bad gas?

Is there a tool that is sold that makes it easier to pull the caps on a Echo cs590? I tried searching for a thread but had no luck.

    Shindaiwa eb802 and 854

Been looking to buy one of these, anyone have any experience with them? Leaning towards the 802 due to it being lighter and nearly as powerful. But I don't want to feel like I skimped out on power. Also looked at husky 570 but seems very heavy.

    Husqvarna flippy caps

Are these caps supposed to be hard to unscrew when new? The gas cap seems pretty easy but the oil cap is harder? Will this get easier with time, I can live with this minor issue but was wondering if it is normal

    543xp ? 550xp? 545?

New to the forum, I work at a cemetary taking care of the grounds, also do a little landscaping on the side. Need a saw for occasional clean up at work. Looking for a very lightweight husky saw with a high power to weight. I might cut a few small trees here and there 10" diameter about. Also...
