    Bailey's has had a data/security breach. Update!

NOw...... I notices earlier someone posted that said the spent their days catchin the scum that does this nasty stuff. Can they suggest any measures we should take to protest ourselves if we have not yet been attacked. Should we be changing out credit card and account numbers? Is Paypal enough...

    Bailey's has had a data/security breach. Update!

I avoid entering credit card details into sites online order forms and use PayPal to make payments That way your card details are not on their databases

    Stihl 039 Rebuild

I don't thnk they would do anything on a stock saw. You really need to open the muffler right up and maybe a light port job to get the extra air flow needed to take advantage of the bigger carb. I have tested mine with both carbs and it ran 15% slower with the 460 carb but I recon it just needs...

    Stihl 026 rebuild

I stripped the WT-194 carb and the fuel jet holes in the carb look identical. I will have to get a micro drill set to check sizes to be sure.

    Stihl 026 rebuild

They are all with the same card. I thought it was comical that it took so many goes to get a cut where it didn't block the sprocket cover. The Wt-194 is yet to be opened up and investigated

    Stihl 026 rebuild

Wound the tune out today to see how it would go while I was doing some other tests on another saw. Its a little power house but made sooooo much noodle that it couldn't clear it from the sprocket cover I will like the 3 takes it took to get a clean cut, eventually dropping revs back to 14700 in...

    Stihl 026 rebuild

Tuned the 026 today with the stock spring back in the WT-394 carb. I can now stall it lean and rich at idle and got a sweet tune at 2800 RPM with very good throttle response. Would it out lean and brought it back till it started to burble. Repeated this a couple times to get an ear for the...

    Stihl 026 rebuild

Yeah it did that here on Thursday. I was driving home and my car said it was between 40 and 42 deg c all the way home (1 hr drive) at 6pm. Humidity waqs through the roof and it was just sweat central. Got home and the air con was on, had something to eat and a couple beers. Noticed it was...

    our firewood craziness.......

Next time I drive out to my parents property I will take a pic of the sight that makes me dream of firewood. There is a small farm and they have 3 very big gum trees down in one small area. I am seriously thinking about knocking on their door and asking if they have any plans for the down...

    Stihl 026 Air Filter Issue

I have a late 026 pro that has a 260 carb, air filter, tank vent etc. I bought an aftermarket air filter from teh US and it did the same thing. After a bit of playing around I found that when it is tightened down to the carb, it actually squeezes the filter in and there is a small plastic...

    Stihl 026 rebuild

Yeah that vid clears a lot up I hear the fat burble and how it cleans up in the cut. That's what I will aim for. I am trying to train myself to be able to tune correctly without needing a tacho as speeds are irrelevant. That timber looks similar to what we have here. Hard as hell. A lot of...

    Stihl 026 rebuild

Ok, stock spring is back in the WT-394 As soon as the WT-194 shows up from the states, I will pull them both apart and compare their internals. Mate, may I ask you to elaborate of a couple of points from the above just so I fully understand what your talking about? When you say you set the...
