    Broken flywheel fin

I would either replace it or break the other one off that is 180 degrees around from it to balance it out, I have had to do that before

    Husqvarna 322l reviews?

That is part of the design, when using it I never notice the movement but it shouldn't really move or twist much, was yours really loose?

    Husqvarna 322l reviews?

I actually bought the 322l a few months ago, its been a great trimmer so far. I would recommend it to anyone, I just use my stihl for heavier stuff like tall thick grass and brush when needed. I just hope it doesn't give me trouble now that I bragged on it. Only thing have had to do was tune the...

    Brush cutter blades

I like the mulching blade in particular, I've used many different types of blades but this one is more productive. Where I live its called a kudzu blade we actually have a kudzu crew in my town that contract and they use that blade on their equipment. For contract clearing jobs I've had in the...

What kind of tree was this??

From the picture the bark looks similar to black jack oaks I've removed but I may be completely wrong,I don't see many of them they seem rare in my area, not sure how they split but it was a little bit tougher to cut than other oaks

    Used 372XP pre-buy inspection questions.

i don't have a compression gauge either, whenever i bought used i checked the compression with the pull rope method, even for just the powerhead I'd say that a good deal, you wont find one in my neck of the woods for 200 running

    Anybody got tennitus?

My ears are ringing now from running my saws all afternoon and like a dum dum I have a box full of 80 pair of plugs and didn't even bother with putting any in. One thing that sucks worse is being at a firing range and shooting part of the day without ear protection

Bought a new Poulan Pro 5020 to see what there about

I bought one to get me out of a pinch like 2 weeks ago, long story short I was on a job and for some reason the 2 stihls I brought would not run when they ran fine the day before, not a dealer for miles and miles but there was a pawn shop within 20 mins closest place with equipment and I came...

    Looking at an Echo today

Doesn't sound like a bad 100 buy, 24 " bar and chain would be that much new

Pawnshop finds / why chainsaws hold value

Very hard to find stihls pr huskys in pawn shops in my area if you do they are way over priced, all you see are craftsman and poulans. This one time though a pawn shop was moving to a new building and had a wall full of chainsaws not worked on for 5 bucks as well with weedeaters and mowers and...

    026 compression

Sometimes it is just simple as a piston ring, a client I have couldn't get his little green poulan to start and he took it to the shop one day and came back and said you can have this saw its goin to cost me 150 to fix, labeled low compression, so I took it and it had a reading below 90 when I...

    026 compression

I am wondering if the gaskets and membranes are worn to a point its causing a vacuum leak, I have had this problem before with a different saw some time ago but the saw certainly didn't run that well before I fixed it. The only thing about fixing these small engines is its all ruling out the non...

Arborist equipment, where do I start?

Great advice was given by the other members with startup equipment, i didn't start out with the most expensive harness and spurs but what I did have was enough to keep you comfortable and safe until I could invest in better gear

Arborist equipment, where do I start?

Low and slow and get some practice in before taking on a actual job and also practice climbing without spikes for your pruning jobs. Climbing becomes second nature after you get a good feel for it and also practice with your tie in points and when using any saws make sure you have 2 tie in points
