    XD I was born in 97 you have been working on saws longer than I have been around, I think it be wise to listen then...., where's the best place to buy fuel, I have always ran 91-93 from marathon with stihls hp ultra oil

    thank you for the links, any other ideas on what could help me would be appreciated, I am a beginner, I have rough knowledge and basic understanding on all of this, but its addicting to work on saws I must say...

    I had previously miss spoke when I said puller for the clutch, I had meant flywheel and have since edited the post, I apologize for that

    who makes a good puller for the flywheel?. I have a vac/pressure tester coming on amazon, will test when it arrives.

    I can suck air thru the fuel line, clutch is worn, intake boot is "ok" but not great impulse line is fine.

    We had probably throughout the company more that 10 or 15 t540xp saws, we are down to about 5 or 6 now, I can't think of a single person that would pick it over the 201s

    Thankyou, that's good to know, if I go tomorrow morning to buy I will post pictures. Since first posting this, I had read your post from a while back about tuning a 201, was it an m-tronic model?

    Unless you really take your time they almost never come out looking factory however this was about a ten minute fix so... And as far as what size spinner, I have no idea, it belongs to the tree service I work for.

    That man can file a chain awfully quick too. And I agree, he's is very passionate about his occupation, and axe restoration, music and all sorts of stuff, seems like a cool dude.

    I hear ya, but this chain has little use and we have a bunch of small sections of chain, it only took maybe ten minutes to fix it up right. However I was not apposed to just (grinding) those two teeth off and calling it good, sometimes it's just what you haft to do. :)

    I believe it was BARBED wire inside of dead ash It's not my personal equipment, but it is handy at work :)
