Got the 2.3 Craftsman back together after a good cleaning and base gasket leak repair. Took the PP 221 apart and cleaned it up. They got carb rebuilds, new fuel lines and filters. Both run good after a bit of tuning in some downed cherry. The 4620AV is not looking good.

Started the clean up and inspection on the Craftsman 2.3 AV and found a loose bolt that holds the cylinder on and looked like the gasket may have moved so I decided to take it off. Cylinder and piston both looked really good with just some carbon build up. Will have to pick up some gasket...

A few weeks ago I stopped at another repair shop that belongs to a co workers brother looking for someone to sharpen a 1/2 in. pitch chain and ended up leaving with duckbills, filters, various size fuel line, and a non running 3400, S25DA, and a 1616 Skil . He didn't remember why the 3400 was...

Rebuilt the HDB carb on the 3.0, (3400) Craftsman I picked up recently. Runs pretty decent.

Got the Zama, C3A-W3, carb rebuilt on the 3800 today. First rebuild since it was bought new in '91 from Sears. Checked the compression also while it was apart, still 140 psi. Runs just like it did when it was new.

They treat me good there. The Bonfire is only a couple miles from home. We eat there often. Best fish in the valley.

Picked up a few carb kits from a local shop and they start to add up quick.

Picked up an assortment of saws off of c-list recently that consisted 2 McCullochs, 5 Homelites, 2 gray Craftsman, and 2 Poulans. Only wanted the Poulans and Craftsmans. Guess you gotta take the good with the bad.

That is a 3.7 cu.in most likely thick ring saw. I have a 3800 poulan that has a zama C3A-W3 carb on it. Could be a HDB also.
