    Too many Wood stoves??

[ My question is has anyone experienced or heard of anyone having an issue with having 3 or more wood burning systems in one house? I think 3 or more woodstoves requires a full time stoker in Washington State.:hmm3grin2orange:

    Mice in the woodpile

I cover the air intake on all our vehicles with a small piece of screen door material and secure with duct tape or rubber bands. I had a mouse chew through the air filter in my truck and build a nest with the fuzz.

    What woodstove do you have?

I have a Lopi Endeaver and love it. Drafts great, very little creosote and makes a bunch of heat. Highly recommend the stove. I was burning an old earth stove prior to the Lopi and it left a lot of creosote in the top 3ft of chimney. Especially when I burned alder. A good stove in its day.

    Mice in the woodpile

I have found that glue boards work best for me with a small piece of broccoli in the middle. Not to big of a piece. For the wood rats I shingle nail the board to a piece of 2x6 about 24 inchs long otherwise they roll around with it and it is a real mess.

Do you have to have reverse on a grinder

I agree with NWCS. I have a Simington and they recommend the burr to the inside. For best results the motor needs to spin both directions. Besides, you don't want the sparks in your face grinding toward yourself.

    Help with process...please

You need to invest in a peavey to roll your logs. That way you can cut 3/4 of the way through and roll them to finish them. Save's on chains.

horizontal only vs verticle and horizontal log splitters

I have the Brave 22ton verticle/horizontal and i love it. I hook it up to my polaris 700 and get after it. After splitting about 50 cords with this machine I realize this is one of the best investments I have ever made. If you have big rounds to split being able to tip it up and roll the rounds...

I am new to this site, I have been reading various threads for a couple months and have learned a lot. Thank you. Realizing that no one is a smart as all of us together, I thought I would ask a question. My question is.... Does anyone have one of these stoves yet, or any info on the...
