    Any drawbacks to carbide chain

I've never used it but have an opportunity to buy a 20" carbide chain for a decent price... Just curious if there are any hidden monsters involved with it other than needing a diamond wheel to sharpen it.

HUZTL/farmertec clones.... Is there anyone else interested in them??

Recently I made a gruesome mistake, and posted this in the trading Post... My bad. I really didn't intend to make people think I was pushing an agenda to swamp the logging market with aftermarket kit saws.... So I have been asked to move this conversation here. The point of this thread is to...

    OEM chainsaws are the best

Ok so recently I mistakenly created a thread trying to connect with like minded people about aftermarket clone saws... Clearly that was a stupid move on my part. It seems that it only attracted people with the opposite mindset who believe with all their heart that they are the Masters of the...

Sold HUZTL/farmertec clone saws.... anybody interested???

I build and sell a ton of these kits to people across the nation. I have built over a hundred of the various kits over about 3 years. Most of the saws I have built are visible on YouTube. When I build them I make a video of it so the owner can see it running before I send it to them. I title...

slabbing some wood on a beautiful day

my brother came up today to help me work on the house, so we decided to slab some wood instead. my 041 super is finally running right so I mounted my home made mill to the bar and went to work on the smaller chunks of catalpa in the back yard. we had a blast! here are the pictures!! lifting it...

    041 still not running right

i have completely rebuilt this thing.... the saw starts right up and runs, just runs like crap. I saw a vid on you tube of a 031 that was running exactly the way my041 is. when you pull the throttle it just dogs way down.. I can see the fuel dumping through the carb, so it is obviously flooding...

    rebuilding stihl 041

I bought an old stihl 041 super electric quickstop (whatever that means) to use in a chainsaw mill attachment. my problem is the ignition module, rather in finding a new one..... I came across one on ebay that says it is a replacement, I don't understand how they work, so I am wondering if it is...
