Ladies and Gentlemen, listen up.This is a serious post and you all need to read it.

You are starting to make me a little nervous. I was doing a little backpacking in the Arkansas about 10? years ago and had a tick bite with a prefect bulls eye around it so being a EMT I was being proactive and went in to my Doc and showed him. Yep he thought it could be so he gave me some...

    360t or ms192

We have two 360T and a 200T that we use in the bucket truck. We have had good luck with the 360T but what i hate about them is the doggs are too short. The limb rubs on the case and the doggs never dig in.

    MAXX Chain grinder

Was looking for a website but could not find one. Does Oregon build the Maxx chainsharpner?

    MAXX Chain grinder

I think I have figured out most of it but am wondering what angle do i set the clamp/vice at. I have the head set at 60 degrees. I did what you suggested but the chain seemed a little to aggressive. Also it was wanting to just touch the rakes on the way down.

    MAXX Chain grinder

Just bought myself a new Maxx grinder and the instruction are beyond bad. Very hard to follow and have read them over several times. Was wondering if anyone knows of a video that can be watched? All of my chains are 3/8 that I am running.

    Baileys Shipping

That thread was moved over to the Baileys sponsor section. It all depends on the weight and size of what is being sent. I will assure you you don't want to send a 660 through the USPS. I did for about 60 bucks.

    Stump Grinders

We are running a cat 246 with a grinder and the largest drawback is sometimes getting to the stump could be the problem. We always gain access by taking down a fence, going through a gate ect. We haul off all of our limbs and stems and then grind the stumps. No need to feed a chipper and faster...

    Husqvarna 455 Rancher Oil problem

I think they was some discussion somwhere on this site and was talking about a upgrade kit to make it oil better. Mine does not oil enough either. Seems to be a little flaw in the design.

    Husqvarna 455 Rancher Oil problem

Does seem a little odd. It seems like the 55 is known for NOT putting out enough oil.

    Oil bath and chain grinders

I am surprised that no one is making a chain sharpener with a oil bath system. It seems that it would keep the teeth cooler while you are sharpening them. Getting ready to order a bench mount from Baileys and just starting to research the best grinder to buy. I usually buy somewhere in the...

which top handle saw is the one for me?

I am another vote for the echo chain saw. We have 2 of the 360T and they have a lot of torque and is pretty simple in construction. I really don't like the plastic but we have been using them for over three years and we have not had any large failures to date. Everyone always talks about the...

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Dealer just called and thinks that the jug was reused cand just honed. I really believe that Baileys is a very upstanding company and am in the process of contacting them for advice how to resolve the issue.

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Did place a compression check on it and it was at 100 lbs after five pulls. Did check the fuel filter and was not plugged. And I am mechanicaly inclined and they are times that you are better off taking to a dealer than just always throwing parts at it. After putting two top ends on this saw...

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Any thoughts on this 660 that when the piston and jug was changed out that the wrong gasket was installed. Causing lower compression, but still enough to start but not enough to work under a load. Could this be a possibility??

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Oh you would have brought up the shipping issue again. After I got it boxed up and insured it throught the United States Postal Service the cost was $67.00 ....................................OUCH, THAT REALLY HURTS You can bet next time I get ready to ship it will be through...

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Yep, same saw that is eating the top ends. This is after we got the saw back from Baileys. No this top end is still in great shape. Have not even ran this thing five minutes. It does seem strange that it did not have this problem before I sent it off, but sometime things just happens. I would...

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Thanks for everyone reply on checking out the spark. Have not done that. Will call the shop and have them to do it. yep that is the reason we took a good log with us is to make sure. Any other ideas we can check? It just seems that if it would start it should cut. Any truth to that there is a...

When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Got our 660 back from Baileys and started the saw and idled great and sounded good at half throttle when the saw arrived. Fast forward two weeks and had a final cut on a stump. Whipped out the old 660 and ready to see it rock and roll and just started to cut. Did not even get in to the stump two...
