If you can still find them, Rubbermaid used to make a storage tote called the "Action Packer". I like them for saw storage, especially when I travel with my saws.

As he advertises, it was $7 per chain (when you send in 10 or more) plus tax. I had 14 so it was just over $100 after taxes. No shipping charge back to me. My local dealer charges $8 of more and takes a week or more. They don’t clean the chains either, at least not to the level Razzorsharp does.

Yes Razzorsharp (@Hogheadjeremy ) is still hard at it. Today I received 14 chains back from him that look better and are sharper than when they were new.

The later 028's had plastic tanks. Earlier 028's had the mag tanks. I forget the time frame of the change.

Forgive me if this is not a correct place to post this and move it if needed. I recently gave my brother a rebuilt Stihl 028 WB as a housewarming gift. It was running great then and still is running very well. However, in the future if he needs it worked on I'd like to have a resource for him...

Rebuilding a MS250 that my dad straight gased several years ago. This saw will be a housewarming gift for my brother. While rebuilding, I'm converting from the ez-start pull starter and the tooless chain tensioner to the standard setup.
