Can you take a picture of the trunk where it meets the ground? It could be possible that you have stem girdling roots.

I have a 920 I could consider parting ways with. It does need a bit of work on the recoil which came apart. I haven't had a chance to look for the part to fix it.

You are sure it is the motor. I have a Bandit 90 and this past spring the valve went and I couldn't get the feed wheels to work. Changed it out and works like a charm again.

No problem. Get lots of new clients calling saying bugs are attacking their trees and 90 % of the time it is sapsucker damage. They can wreak havoc on younger thin barked species.

Yeah when we are down to almost 6 hours of daylight it can be tough to prune or fall or even worse rig some trees out for removals. Especially having to clean up in the snow.

I do some tree care work for the town. You do custom milling work? There are times when we might do a removal or two with some decent wood for milling.

I call it quits when it gets below -40. But that is if it is walking through the Bush and doing assessments. If it is working in the wind and handling a chainsaw I stop at -35. It gets too hard to stay warm after that. We have been pretty lucky this winter, only a couple days at a time with...
It is only -18 C here. We have had a warm December so far. It is expected to change though for the rest of winter.

That is just like mine. I have been using for 18 years and still going strong. Great falling saw. You will love it!

I see that a lot of the time. It can be sketchy some of the time and other times is nothing at all. I try not to climb them if I can but do when I have to. So tough to read and know what has caused what to present different ways. I usually expect rot and find it.

I am headed to Ontario to visit my folks. I may have to make it a work equipment trip. I could use a second 193T for a backup.
