This pile of parts is finally looking like a saw.
Waiting for a new clutch drum before I fire it up. The one they sent me was too tight. It measured .611 and the one off my stock 660 measures .630. Tried milling it out but those clutch drums are made of some pretty tough stuff, my carbide...
I picked this up at an auction last year. Only selling because I finished my ported 461 project and I don't need it.
Has 150lbs compression, good runner. Pulls a 32" bar and chain with ease. Has a 066 air filter cover and a 440 handle, but otherwise it's an original 10mm saw. I haven't done...
As you can see, other than some transfer from the ring there is nothing wrong with the cylinder (other than squish area being too large). I also included a pic of the solder I used to initially measure squish. It did not even touch the top of the cylinder with everything torqued to spec and no...
I purchased this kit to throw in a buddy's 350.
When I received it, the port castings were rough so I cleaned them up a little with a dremel.
Assembled as normal, no run, <90psi compression. Passed vacuum test. Took it apart. Removed base gasket and measured squish @ .032 - reassembled...
I ordered one of these kits. Never sent me tracking info, but it showed up 3 weeks later.
All parts are here and accounted for.
I assembled the crankcase. Froze the crank, heated the case halves, and it went pretty smooth. Will update as I go.
I bought this as part of a lot at an estate sale.
The bad: It had a crack in the muffler, so I welded it shut. The pull rope was short so I replaced that as well. The chain brake does not function. It's a little ugly.
The good: Strong runner. ~155psi compression. Runs/Cuts/Oils as it should...
I have a Jonsered 2095 for sale. 94cc, 20" bar and chain. Bought from an estate sale. Gave it a going over. Welded a crack in the muffler, replaced the rope. Starts/Runs/Cuts well. Sat around 155psi compression when I bought it. Asking $550 shipped.
Short on cash, will you take my second born? She doesnt eat much and is great for jobsite cleanup hahaha.
Great saw, good luck with sale! I would buy it if I had the cash to blow
I bought one a few years back to keep at my camp (figuring if someone stole it I wasn't going to cry over a $189 saw.)
I cut a couple cord a year with it, and the neighbors use it whenever they want. Honestly a decent cheap saw.
I had two problems to date with that saw:
1.) My gas cap...
Pull the cylinder and use a helicoil.. I have fixed several cylinders with them, all of which still work to this day. Excellent $2 fix

I took this on trade for an MS250. Saw was too heavy for its previous owner who is in his 70's. I traded him a MS250 straight up for it. Strong running saw, 20" bar and chain, needs cleaned up & new stickers if you want them. I will pull muffler and take pics & get compression numbers tomorrow...
