    Husqvarna 257 garage sale find.

I believe the 257 is a 1995. The cylinder and piston are in excellent condition. Runs really well. It’s ready for a new bar.

    Logs for log home.

I have over 100 Norway Pines and not sure how many Spruce in the 16"-22" range. I was wondering if a log home builder would get me the best bang for my buck$$$$ ?, or should I let them grow? I'm no spring chicken at 64.

Found this on a local add. The 044 is in the shop for a checkup and tune up before I pick it up. Its been sitting a few years and has very limited use over its lifetime. Untouched original and excellent plus condition? Hard find around here in this shape.

    Who burns Maple Ash?

Looking at the btu chart Maple Ash (Box elder) has 17.9 million btu per cord and poplar has 13.7 million btu per cord. I have about 40 cords standing on the place. I figure if I cut it up I can find someone to pick it up off the ground. I'm thinking it would work fine for a outside wood stove.

    Echo CS361P or a Stihl MS201C

Both are 35cc rear handle pro saws the difference I see is the Echo is 300 bucks cheaper at 400.00 bucks. Why is the Stihl so dang much at 700.00?
