    Water cooled chainsaw chain exelent

cool, very interesting Bob. Keep up the top research work! Was there any issues with water being drawn inside the chain cover and getting inside the saw body? I guess it wouldn't matter too much any way, theres not much thats going to rust in there.

    Water cooled chainsaw chain exelent

Crikey, so does all this mean I can completely bypass an aux oiler when I make up my new mill, and just go with the water lube? Would be heaps cleaner.....

    DIY Alaskan Mill Video

Cheers, yes its an old bar oil bottle with some plastic irrigation fittings (valve, tubes). Very simple, a little messy but is an OK quick setup. yes, I am still the apprentice though:buttkick: :D . Very busy at the moment but I am quietly building. By the end of this month, I should have 3...

    DIY Alaskan Mill Video

The McChulloch I have is rated at 1850 watt (2.48 HP). On the little spec sticker on the bottom of the saw, it actually says it is made by Husqvarna. Sure do. If you get a dinky homeowners saw, toss the anti-kickback chain and fit a decent standard chain. Made a huge difference to...

    036 Piston wear

or the alternative is to put it back on Ebay. Give it a clean and make it look presentable. Take some good pics and give it a colorful description. Don't flat out lie. Someone will buy it and you will get most of your money back. Not so good for the Karma though.

    DIY Alaskan Mill Video

Gday, yep that be me. The POS clutch crapped out so I had it replaced under warranty. Truth be told, if it goes again I could probably literally make one with a drill press and an Angle grinder they are that basic. Little McChulloch is still ripping no sweat. This vid was the...

    Stihl T550 Concrete Saw??such a thing?

cheers Lake. So would you hedge your bets on it being a TS510 or a TS760? The red disc guard looks a fair bit different than the stock grey Stihl guard.

ah crap, I cant wait to get into some millin like that! cool vids. :rockn: So now that you've got both hands on the mill at the same level, is it much more ergonomic? How well balanced is it say when you rest it on those logs in the vids? Is the power head still the heavy end? She is a...

    Stihl T550 Concrete Saw??such a thing?

Hi, need some help/advice from the Stihl experts. Did Stihl ever make a concrete/cut off saw with the model number T550? Some guy selling this saw says that the model number is correct. The saw body looks exactly like either a TS510 or a TS760 to me. What do you think?, cheers for any help....

    BIL Mill's maiden voyage

Bob that is awesome! Beautiful timber, I have major FOMO. How are you finding the weight issue of the mill? Is it hard work lifting and maneuvering the mill around etc? After a good half day of milling, does it take a toll on your body>
