I have started using mystik jt-4 lawn and garden. It's FD rated and only cost $6.50 a quart. I've only used about about 4 gallons of mix so far but it seems to work well. Long term use is unknown to me but I'm going on the rating at this point.

I've been looking at the Echo 4910. Seems like a nice lightweight 50cc saw. Anyone know how they compare to a stihl 026? Looks like the 4910 is a good deal, if they produce similar power.

I'm glad I found this thread. You guys really know these saws inside and out. Looks like I'm have a similar issue finding the correct carb parts as Gumneck and a few others. Only one of the welch plugs in the carb kit fit in the MDC carb. Where is a good source for the larger welch plug...

Mulberry is related to Osage orange and has the same yellow color to the wood. It turns to brown as it ages.

Seen it on multiple saws. Doesn't seen to be a big issue.
