So I own 4 of these saws. When running correctly they are excellent. The big problem is, after about one year of use (climbing and aerial lift), the saw doesn’t run properly. Here are two examples. 1). Will not idle 2). Cutting is slower because the saw doesn’t have full power. I’ve...

    CMC lifts

Does anyone here own one or know someone who owns one?? I demoed the 60'. It's nice and is fast for a spider. I am concerned about the reliability of this machine because of the computers and sensors it has. Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you.

    Most reliable spider lifts

Checked out the CMC Arborpro 60 Seems nice. Solid machine with 38' side reach. I am concerned about the computers in this machine. I wonder how weather resistant they are.

    Most reliable spider lifts

I've heard that the easy lifts are nice. Problem is that I can't find a dealer/service center near my area (MA). Are they easy to work on??

Get big or stay small? a business advice thread.

Stay small keep it all My tree business is just over 30 years old. I prefer to keep the quality of my work as close to perfect as possible. Also, I get to spend more time on the field, have less overhead, and less headaches. The biggest headaches seem to come from issues with employees (i.e...

    Most reliable spider lifts

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and have been in the tree business for 25 years. I need some opinions on the newest spider lifts. I am most interested in the SIMPLEST of lifts meaning that it is reliable and easy to work on and also that it has the fewest computer parts. So far all that really...
