    Sachs Dolmar Chainsaws Thread

I bought the 114 that was on ebay and not running, piston is scored but cylinder is good. Part numbers are showing the same for both the 112 and 114 but there is an A/B piston version if I am reading that correctly. The piston in this 114 is a dome with a dish, anyone familiar with this. I'm...

The part number is 530024225, it is the updated version used on the 3400/3700/4000 rear mount, and all of the 6900/7700/8500 mounts. I've seen them on eBay from pro line and chainsawr.com is also selling them, which is where I got them. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk

One of the strongest saws I did had over .030 squish. And I never machined anything. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk

I've seen his 390's run and they are definitely nothing to balk at, I also have several saws ported under his direction and they are the strongest saws I've ever run. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk

It also has a lot to do with what the saw is cutting and in what part of the country, red oak in one part may be harder or softer in another. Too many variables unless you have been to that specific region and cut that particular wood. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
