    Need help guys

I’ll take one tomorrow, it’s dark here now. I’ll put my ported 372 and modded 394 on there for good measure too!

Ok, she’s running now. I did what Brad said. Cleaned the carb a bent the metering arm down just a little. Put it together and it fired right up. Thanks to all that helped!

I pulled the carb off, diaphragm looks good. I’m wondering if the pulse is too strong now as well. Would moving the arm fix that?

Can it mess up if I didn’t take it off or mess with it though?

So what do you think the problem is?

Why do you think it’s happening? I fired it up before tearing it down and it was fine.

If I pull the plug, dry it off with the air compressor and dry the inside of the cylinder, it will hit one time and do nothing else. If that helps at all.

Definitely not saying you are wrong, but can that just happen? I didn’t take the carb apart or even off of the cylinder. I just unhooked the choke, throttle cable, and two hoses that slip on the thing.

So fuel in the carb didn’t help. The muffler filled up with gas... any ideas?

Rupedoggy, I told you everything. I didn’t take the carb off of the cylinder when I did this one, so it shouldn’t be a problem with the carb. Ran great before I took it apart. Plug was wet when I checked it after trying to start it. I didn’t check compression but I can tell there is way more...

I’m pretty sure it’s getting fuel, I thought I flooded it the first time cranking it. Smelled like it bad. I will try squirting some fuel in it though. Thanks for the replies.

So I base gasket deleted a 372xt for a buddy of mine. Squish is .018”, and everything is put back together just as it came apart. The thing won’t start. I’ve ported a few older 372 non xt and got rid of the base gaskets on those as well. They all fired and ran really well. This thing has got me...

    What is this knot called

Three ring circus bowline is what I learned it as. I use it a lot on pull lines, always comes apart real easy.

Pole Gaffs or Tree Gaffs for the novice???

I use Buckingham steel replaceable tree gaffs with aluminum caddy pads. Seems alot of people love the gekos and edlrid too. They are pricey though. Get the best you can afford with the best pads. Good pads are key.

Pole Gaffs or Tree Gaffs for the novice???

Get tree gaffs. You might not like pole gaffs in pine. The only thing I don't like about tree gaffs is I can't sink them in hardwood, which is mostly what I climb. You get used to it though.

    TURD of a Husqvarna T435

I also have a t435 that I climb with. I've taken the screen out and it is a little better. I'm curious how to advance the timing though, never done that. Anyone care to explain? Thanks.

    Homemade portawrap

Zale, Good advice. I experienced this first hand on that exact one... Locked up on a big branch, 1 wrap with a pinto rig up top. I was pissed. Thinking about bead blasting the powder coat off where the rope runs.

Not sure if you're referring to mine or not. It's powder coated, not painted. Had to have that husky orange. Lol

Sorry, don't know why I have multiple images? I made these two at work. One for the boss, one for me.
