    Been gone a couple of days so I am curious about all the Bannings that went on this weekend. How long are they banned. I know Rotax got banned for life and others get a week some 2 weeks etc. is there a formula that is used to figure all this out ? :( :( :( CMM

    I might add that I don't do this on saws with smaller cranks but have never hurt my or anyone elses using impact when needed.

    with a good piston stop I take mine off with an impact gun and yes it is left hand thread and yes I letter rip. You will need the shock to break it loose sometimes just pulling torq with a wrench aint enough. oh yeah edit: I use rope for my stop always rope. I gave my stops away CMM

    Don't trust those canadiens, we dont even allow them down here more than a day or two at a time. Lake or Gas71 can show you the ropes around the PNW :cheers:

    Used oil is fine, I just strain the big chunks out. CMM

    That would be a great run. The northern Cal and Oregon and Wahington coast are great.

    Logger small time rough neck logger. private owner of a small logging operation or contract logger. Some refer to them as red-neck type and uneducated. Often associated with drinking copious amounts of liquer CMM

    I have mixed diesel, saw gas, trany fluid, 5 weight, solvent, hydrualic fluid and mazola corn oil. They all work for thinning the lubricant. CMM

    I do only on the coldest days and it works very well. We may have to delv into the pros and cons of doing so. Should make a great thread. :cheers:
