Eastonmade has made an adjustable stop. Check out this video, about a minute in, and then a more detailed view at 8:15:

    Anybody ID this log splitter?

I've never heard of that model engine before. What is special about it that made you search specifically for that?

Trim branches that hang over your property?

Can you trim (or have trimmed) the branches that hang over your property? Should probably OK it with the neighbor first, but I've heard (no idea if it's actually true) that around here, you can cut anything that's over the property line.

Prince auto valve work port question

I don't see where it says 1/2" ports. Matching the part number from your link to those listed on page 4 of the user's manual, it says 3/4". There are other valves (different part numbers) that have 1/2" ports listed. Are you sure you looked at the correct one (RD522... vs RD523...)? I looked...

    Enclosed Trailer

Jacob (Guilty of Treeson) recently worked with a company that pulled a small enclosed. You may be able to take some ideas from them. This should start at the right time, but if it doesn't, skip to 25:08:

    Starting the splitter build.

Beware that if your cooler is on the return (and all of your fluid goes through the cooler), your cooler will need to be able to handle a greater flow than 22gpm. How much greater will depend on the rod size of your cylinder.

Is it still a press fit? I'd bet Loctite has something for that.

Commercial splitter but no conveyor - looking for suggestions to improve efficiency

I assume it's because it's easier to pull the chain/belt and have any slack underneath (with the motor at the top) than it is to try to keep the tension perfect since any slack would bunch up with your load (with the motor at the bottom).

Anyone ever needed a electric draft inducer?

The heat gun through a blocking panel is a good idea. I didn't use the cardboard, just stuffed the heat gun into the flue, held in place with the bypass plate. My back draft is strong enough to blow the heat back into the gun, and now have some melted plastic on my heat gun. :dumb2:

    Splitter Issue

Do you think it is made from something other than mild steel? I have no idea if it is... But, if it is mild steel, everything I've ever read said it cannot be hardened/tempered (Example from a quick search)

Anyone ever needed a electric draft inducer?

Do you have access to a cleanout? I have a backdraft issue too when the stove is cold, and I've found that lighting some paper in my cleanout solves it for me. The heat has the most direct path upward so it starts the draft easier than lighting paper in the fire box, where it has to go through...

    Splitter Issue

Burn it? If you can get the flame of a propane torch to it, perhaps you can get it to dry/burn/deteriorate just enough to allow the ram to move more freely so you can get it to come out like usual. Use a hook to shred/pull it? I don't know how much room is in there, but can you get a tool like...

    Not getting much heat

That is too cold - look at the flue thermometer in the same picture. It shows 300-500 is a good range. If I was in your situation, I would start trying to figure out why the fire/flue isn't hot. Can the fire breathe? Is the chimney clean? Is the chimney the proper size to get the proper...

Need help fixing 25 ton log splitter

Do you have a handle/valve end that looks like this? I THINK you can remove those 2 cap screws and rotate the end of the valve to make the handle operate the valve in the opposite direction.
