    Echo CS-2511T

That Echo is pig rich. That's the only problem. Lean it out.

    Echo CS2511T Carb Settings

If you have a tach, idle should be set to 3200 and full throttle is listed at 12,200-13,400. I set mine somewhere in the middle after my muffler mod. It rips pretty good with a 12" 91VXL chain. That is my favorite chain, although it will chatter and grab in certain types of wood. It does get...

    Echo CS-2511T

I don't find mine quite as powerful as my 193 (both are muffler modded). But the weight makes up for it. 90% of the time I'm grabbing for the 2511 due to the weight. The fuel caps can be removed with the starter handle or a scrench turned sideways.

    Echo CS-2511T

I actually didn't even remove the muffler from the saw. I held the saw so that the muffler was upside down (so any metal chips would fall out as I drilled). I then drilled two 3/16" holes in the flat spot that looks like the natural place to drill. I did hit another layer of metal about 1/4"...

    Echo CS-2511T

What is the 2511TES? Is that the European version? Does the American version have the same specs? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

The bumper spike is available. You must to order it. Same as I had to do for my 193t. Sent from my SM-T827V using Tapatalk

    Echo CS-2511T

I think Echo is on their way (actually probably already there) to being a serious threat to Stihl sales on arborist saws. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Echo CS-2511T

I believe it will become a staple of arborists. As much as I'm a Stihl fan, it beats the hell out of the MS150t and its goofy little 1/4 pitch chain. Echo doesn't publish their HP numbers, but I would guess it has very impressive numbers for a 25cc saw. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Echo CS-2511T

As many of you know, Echo recently released the CS-2511T. This is the lightest top handle saw you can buy. I am a die-hard Stihl guy, but when this came out, I had to have one. Let me tell you, I'm not disappointed! This saw is great for everything but the largest removals. It weighs 5 lbs and...

    MS193T....I love this little saw!

I recently picked up a MS193T as a backup to my 201T. The first thing I did when I got it was get rid of the stupid .043 bar and chain and replace it with a 14" .050 bar and chain. I did a muffler mod and retuned the carb. This little saw is great! In fact, I like it much better than my 201. The...

    Stihl MS291 problem

Ethanol free gas, premium synthetic oil, and either Stabil or Sea Foam mixed in EVERY can, no matter how long you are going to have the fuel. Since I started this regimen, I've never had a fuel-related issue. I have a 15 year old 029 Super that has had a lot of use at times, and has sat for a...

Stihl 029 Super Muffler Mod and the Quality of Stihl

I have a Stihl 029 Super that I bought new approximately 15 years ago. I have cut A LOT of wood with this saw. I've never cut the saw any slack. I've been threatening to do a muffler mod on it for a few years now and today I finally got around to doing it. I removed the limiters on the carb so...

MS201T Rebuild. Runs great, but carb adjustment question.

I guess I won't get too wound up about it since it idles fine. Lol

MS201T Rebuild. Runs great, but carb adjustment question.

But shouldn't I be able to get some kind of effect with the L screw? It runs fine no matter what I do with the L screw unless I close it all the way.

MS201T Rebuild. Runs great, but carb adjustment question.

So I bought a junked Stihl MS201T on ebay with the intent of rebuilding it. I did a complete rebuild to include a new piston and cylinder as well as a brand new carburetor. I drilled the muffler and drilled the limiter rod out of the H setting on the carburetor so that I can get the proper range...
