    Woodmizer LT40 SH - 1111 Interupt fault?

oh...duh..might also be the connections to the up/down barrel switch...they get gnasty...check the wires going into the up/down drive motor for good connection, or it may also be the microswitch.... My LT-15 doesn't have all that crap..if it won't go up and down the operator has a broken arm...

First question, what do you want for the mill? Second...disconnect battery power, leave sit for ten minutes and repower it...may just be a raytheon reset.. I am guessing this is a fault in the accuset... really though, call woodmizer tech support, they are bloody awesome at...

Any tricks to getting a cat out of a tree?

hysterical... A more creative and humane (for the climber) approach...grab the beanbags out of your cornhole set, a bigshot with a laser sight and let rip....if the soft bag doesn't work, a weaver 16 oz slickweight surely will...failing that....golf ball...

    Firewood or Milling

If you have trouble finding a local portable bandsaw operator, go to woodmizer.com...they have a locator fo rsawyers...I would imagine the other manufacturers do too, but since I refuse to own any color sawmill but orange, that is what I know...if $$$ are a problem, alot of sawyers will saw on...

ya shoulda turned around and pulled the starter side off dropped the pos in the dirt and left...gratitude is an imaginary emotion, and diplomacy is the art of stepping on the bastards toes until he apologizes... I tend to not put up with crap like that much.

    stupid estimate question

Thanks, that is about what I figured...not something I want to make a habit out of, as you say..no money in it..but these folks are good customers and I stand to do several thousand dollars worth of tree work and landscaping for them in the next couple of years...

    stupid estimate question

I hate to ask this, but I have no clue what is fair...one of my landscape clients has right about a cord of wood he wants split, it is already in rounds and stacked semi neatly..He wants me to bring my splitter and bust it for him, anyone have a ballpark figure on this?

    Trail Maintenance How-To

Take in a hank or two of decent rope too...if a piece appears to want to move, secure it with the line...then section out to control the movement...hope that makes sense... You can also cut blocks and pes in the woods to shore it up...

    Tricks for untieingreally tight knots?

Lay the knot on the log or something and take a billet of wood or a mallet or some thing and give it a few whacks...turn ninety degrees and repeat....wiggle the line a bit...do it all again...it will work out...also works for getting water knots or fishermen's bends out of webbing loops...

    Log unloader ideas

I drag em off with a tractor....I like the side dump idea though... Sounds lime you work in the oilfield...maybe you could come up with a few lengths of well casing and put a set of rollers in the bed of the trailer...stub frame the trailer and fit a hydraulic cylinder to the tongue...tilt...
