May not be your first choice but you can find that Stihl part number listed on Ebay. May find an NOS part or an aftermarket seal. I ordered seals for my Stihl 040 from Ebay.

Stihl made a clutch removal tool/wrench for the 041. I have had one since purchasing an 041A/V in 1968. If you go to the internet and look up Stihl 041 clutch removal tool it will show pictures and EBay has many for sale. The tool also fits other saw clutches.

The 040 was a one year run and I do not believe there were any AV models or electronic models. Maybe 041 AVE. Would like to know piston size and displacement.

There is a cross reference chart on there site. Getting direct from them in Ireland is no cheap on shipping but I usually order multiple kits for various saws when I order.

Go to Tillotson site and they still list the kit. I have ordered directly from them. Kit is RK88hl.

I would agree with the first comment.It appears to me that there is bad soil under the cracked area. Moisture,poor soil and insufficient compaction most likely caused the cracking not the tree.
