I went out to setup up my new 3120 and run it for awhile to break it in. I put on a 32" bar and fresh chain and hit some logs. I noticed that it kept hitting the rev limiter. Not sure what that is set at but it seems like around 9,500 which seems really low. I did a couple cuts but didn't...

Wow...that dosen't seem like much out of a 50" bar. I am running a non double end 42" bar right now and can mill 36". I guess you loose a lot more with a double ended bar then I would of thought.

Dose anyone know what the max milling is on the 50" double end bar is?

Yeah I have a 395 and it runs great. The 3120 would be for milling big wood. We have big Red Fir, Oak and Cedar in our area. Right now I have 3 logs all other 40"+ to mill. I have hit the limit on milling with the 395.

Hello Guys, I am looking at getting a Husky 3120xp and will be running a 50" or 52" bar on it. My current setup is a 395 xp and 36" and 42" bar in 3/8. Is it worth staying with 3/8's chain to be able to run those bars on the 3120 or should switch to 404? Thanks

I am looking at getting a 50" or 52" bar for my setup. Found this Forester bar on Amazon for $219 shipped. Seems like a good deal. I was hoping for 404 chain but this one only comes in 3/8. What do you guys think? Is there a better bar out there for the price? Thanks...

It came off when I was removing the tank. I will replace that hose too since it isnt staying on very well.
