    Husky 3120xp RPM's

I went out to setup up my new 3120 and run it for awhile to break it in. I put on a 32" bar and fresh chain and hit some logs. I noticed that it kept hitting the rev limiter. Not sure what that is set at but it seems like around 9,500 which seems really low. I did a couple cuts but didn't...

    Husky 3120 xp Parts Availability

I am looking to add a 3120 xp. My main dealer I buy from doesn't have any in stock and said that last time he called Husky they didn't have any available. So it seems like they are fading them out. How long would we be able to get parts for these saws? I don't want to add a saw that I...

    New Setup 3/8 or 404?

Hello Guys, I am looking at getting a Husky 3120xp and will be running a 50" or 52" bar on it. My current setup is a 395 xp and 36" and 42" bar in 3/8. Is it worth staying with 3/8's chain to be able to run those bars on the 3120 or should switch to 404? Thanks

    Forester Bars Any Good?

I am looking at getting a 50" or 52" bar for my setup. Found this Forester bar on Amazon for $219 shipped. Seems like a good deal. I was hoping for 404 chain but this one only comes in 3/8. What do you guys think? Is there a better bar out there for the price? Thanks...

    Worth Fixing? Or Trash?

So my friend knows how much I love orange things that are 2-stroke. So he thought of me when he saw this blower in the dumpster at his work. It starts but wont stay running but has great compression. It might need a carb kit. So far it needs fuel lines, filter and part that goes into the...

    Husky 345 leaking fuel

I am helping my uncle out by fixing up his saw. He is missing a couple parts on his tank...lol I guess this might be the reason it is leaking fuel.. The diagram shows 2 part numbers. 503 60 04-01 (Filter Plug) 501 62 98-01 (Valve Plug) What part do I need...

Adding Some Sauce To Echo 355t

Ran a couple tanks through the saw and it ran good but I think there is more in this saw. So to the bench we go. Surprised at the compression. Tear down and clean up. My plan is to change the bottom transfers a little, raise the intake a touch, and widen the exhaust. Nothing too crazy, just...

    Granburg File-N-Joint Models

Can anyone share with me the difference in the models? I am looking for one that can run a 6 side file for square chisel chain. It looks like the current model is the G106B but it doesn't look like it can run that type of file. The others models I found are the G104 and G108. Thanks

Is There Such A Thing As Cali Approved Saw?

Ok Guys, I just got off the phone with my Echo dealer about what day they are doing the Echo Sale. I asked him about the CS -501p and 620PW. He said they didn't come up on their list to order so they must not be approved for California. WHAT? You gotta be joking right?

    Echo CS 400 Bar Options

Hey Fellas, I am setting up a CS 400 for my uncle and I want to get him a extra bar and chain. I really like Oregon bars but when I use their bar guide it only shows .325 bars. Do they make a 3/8 LP bar? The CS 400 manual says 6-tooth, 3/8 in pitch spur. The Echo bar says 3/8LP, 62 DL...

Echo Gurus... CS 400 or CS 4510?

Looking for some input on a couple echo saws. Looking at either the CS 400 or CS 4510. There is a couple things I like better on the 4510 like kill switch and higher RPM's. The 4510 says 13,000 rpm's vs 12,000 rpm's in the 400. The down side is the 4510 is a little heavier and more...
