Picked up a locked up $20 272xp this morning. Free’d the rings, swapped the coil and now I have a nice running 272. First 272 I’ve had. Should be a nice match for the ol 440. They are very comparable but seems the 272 is a top end screamer and the 440 has the grunt. Super stoked about this deal.

Been awhile since I been on here but just because I haven’t been messing with saws. Decided to spend a lil time with the 440.

Sorry guys need some help, first time working on a 441 and I’m trying to get it down to remove the cylinder. How do I remove this throttle cable? Any tips on getting down to be able to remove the cylinder would be appreciated. This is a whole different animal than the 1128s

What are some things I need to look at on a no start 441c? My first mtronic saw. Anybody have any advice or tips?
